Nice photos. Pero admit it, RJ, even in sleekiest of cities (NY, Osaka, London, etc), siksikan din sila during rush hours (although not as packed as in our MRT and LRT).

I confess that I'm grateful to this LRT2 (yata un, basta ung route na Santolan-Recto). When I was in college, we normally spend around 2 hours to get to PUP from Antipolo. Now, I can get to Recto from Antipolo in less than an hour (via LRT2), from Antipolo to Monumento in a little more than an hour (via LRT1).

So we are, mobility-wise, developing a little.

great comparison, doc rj!
i also take lrt line 2 rides from quezon city to recto on way to my work in manila. it's faster, less traffic but lrt authorities should learn more from people manning the same mode of transit abroad. so their patrons would be as packed as sardines in a can.
